Chris Hawkins
As a climber and explorer, Chris has travelled to some of the harshest environments in the world to experience and photograph the geography and people who live there.
Greenland, Ethiopia, Australia, South Africa and Nepal are a few of his most recent expeditions and trips he has been on. Some of the images taken are available to view and purchase here. Along with challenging trips to interesting places, he has travelled throughout much of his home country looking and photographing some of England’s wonderful countryside.
Working mainly with Hasselblad medium format cameras and professional transparency film stock, he is able to produce images which were taken to be enlarged to huge sizes, detail and the beauty of each image can bombard, lull and excite the viewer.
